Credentials…

Romulus-Unforgiven has forty-plus years in a variety of roles and responsibilities within the information technology/service industry.  Romulus-Unforgiven has been in the practical side of information technology since he built an AM radio receiver circa 1960. He learned “computers” in the U.S. Air Force as a Cryptographic Equipment and Electronic Systems Repairman in the late nineteen sixties, and got to spend some time in The Big Cookout, at Ton Son Nhut Air Base, RVN.  Romulus-Unforgiven has held a variety of computer service-related jobs, and has experience with Burroughs Corporation (now Unisys), Digital Equipment Corporation, TRW Controls (subsequently Ferranti International Controls), Electronic Data Systems, and with a gaming machine manufacturer.

Romulus-Unforgiven has ten years cumulative experience within two branches of the U.S. military, in information technology and combat arms roles.

Romulus-Unforgiven has eight years formal courseware development and delivery experience within the information technology and service industry, developing and conducting lecture-style instruction to varied customer audiences.  In addition, Romulus-Unforgiven has many years’ experience in informal training and development roles, including formal coaching and mentor roles.

In the early 2000’s, Romulus-Unforgiven left the corporate world to engage in a five-year sabbatical to experience and learn to “cowboy up” on cattle ranches in the Western U.S.  He developed skill and experience in: colt starting, English and Western riding, Vaquero-style roping, cattle-working and handling, and the ancillary tasks related to cattle ranch maintenance.

Recently, Romulus-Unforgiven accumulated five years’ experience writing policy instruments (i.e., policies, standards, procedures, guidelines) for a Western U.S. state government.

The bulk of Romulus-Unforgiven’s career has been spent in customer support or service roles, from first-line direct service and support, to managing customer support departments.
